MEDICAL VISUALISATION & ILLUSTRATION

Medical visualisation is the use of computer software to create 3D images and models from medical imaging data sets which can be used for:
Surgical Planning
Pre & Post Operative Analysis
Training & Education
Medical Illustration
Application Development
Augmented / Virtual Reality
3D Modelling + 3D Printed Models
3D Modelling
3D modelling is the process of creating three-dimensional representations of an object or a surface. Most commonly, you will be familiar with 3D modelling in the relation to architecture, where software such as AutoCAD lets architects plan beyond the traditional method of hand-drawn building plans. As technology has evolved, we’re now able to conjure up a three-dimensional visual of a building before it is fully built.
In a similar process, 3D anatomical models are made within computer-based 3D modelling software and can then be used in a number of ways:
3D Printing
Application Development
Education & Training
Augmented / Virtual Reality
